पूर्व विधायकों के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने आज यहां विधानसभा परिसर स्थित सेन्ट्रल हॉल में मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल से मुलाकात कर भूतपूर्व विधायकों की पेंशन और कुटुम्ब पेंशन की राशि में बढ़ोत्तरी तथा रेल, हवाई यात्रा और बोर्डिंग के लिए व्यय की सीमा बढ़ाने के राज्य सरकार के फैसले के लिए उनके प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. चरणदास महंत, विधानसभा के उपाध्यक्ष श्री मनोज मंडावी, कृषि मंत्री श्री रविन्द्र चौबे, स्वास्थ्य एवं पंचायत मंत्री श्री टी.एस. सिंहदेव, लोक यांत्रिकी मंत्री गुरू रूद्रकुमार, भूतपूर्व विधायक दल के अध्यक्ष श्री स्वरूपचंद जैन सहित वरिष्ठ विधायकगण उपस्थित थे।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुख्यमंत्री ने विधानसभा के वित्तीय वर्ष 2020-21 के बजट पर सामान्य चर्चा का कल सदन में जवाब देते हुए भूतपूर्व विधायकों की पेंशन 20 हजार रूपए से बढ़ाकर 35 हजार रूपए करने, कुटुम्ब पेंशन की राशि 10 हजार रूपए से बढ़ाकर 25 हजार रूपए करने की घोषणा की है। श्री बघेल ने भूतपूर्व विधायकों को रेल्वे कूपन, हवाई यात्रा की सुविधा के साथ बोर्डिंग की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध कराने और इसकी सीमा दो लाख रूपए से बढ़ाकर चार लाख रूपए करने की घोषणा भी की।
