मुंबई 9 अप्रैल 2020। मुंबई के मशहूर अवंति-अंबर अपार्टमेंट में एक व्यक्ति की मौत से हड़कंप मच गया है। इस अपार्टमेंट के बाद राज्य सरकार के साथ-साथ ब्यूरोक्रेसी में भी हड़कंप है, क्योंकि इस बिल्डिंग में कई टॉप IAS अफसर रहते हैं। लिहाजा महाराष्ट्र के चीफ सिकरेट्री ने अपने उस अपार्टमेंट में रहने वाले सभी आईएएस अफसरों को फिलहाल क्वारंटीन में रहने को कहा है। हालांकि अभी तक ये साफ नहीं है कि जिस व्यक्ति की मौत हुई है, वो कोरोना वायरस से ही हुई है, बावजूद जांच रिपोर्ट आने तक सभी आईएएस अफसरों को घरों में रहने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
दरअसल मंगलवार को अवंति अबंर बिल्डिंग में एक व्यक्ति की हार्ट अटैक से मौत हुई थी, वो व्यक्ति अपार्टमेंट में रहने वाले एक आईएएस अफसर के घर पर काम करता था और सर्वेंट क्वार्टर में रहा करता था। हालांकि आईएएस अफसरों को घरों में रहने का निर्देश महाराष्ट्र सरकार के लिए चिंता की बात हो सकती है, क्योंकि यहां रहने वाले एक दर्जन से ज्यादा आईएएस अफसरों को कोरोना के मद्देनजर बड़ी जिम्मेदारी दी गयी है।
कई अफसरों कोरोना के मद्देनजर चल रहे कंट्रोल रूम में भी काम कर रहे थे। हालांकि संक्रमण के खतरे के मद्देनजर राज्य सरकार को ये फैसला लेना पड़ा है।
महाराष्ट्र में गुरुवार को अब तक 162 नए कोरोना के मामले सामने आ चुके हैं। इसी के साथ यहां कोरोना मरीजों की संख्या 1297 हो चुकी है। इससे पहले बुधवार को राज्य में 117 नए मामले सामने आए थे। इनमें से 72 केस मुंबई से थे जहां बुधवार को 5 की मौत भी हो गई। इसी के साथ देश में हर पांचवां कोरोना संक्रमित शख्स महाराष्ट्र से है।
