मैट्स विश्वविद्यालय, मनोविज्ञान विभाग ने “आत्महत्या रोकथाम दिवस” के अवसर पर दो दिवसीय कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया।
जिवराखन लाल उसारे छत्तीसगढ़ ग्रामीण न्यूज़ 11 सितंबर, 2023 को, एक अंतर-विभागीय पोस्टर-मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता विषय “हर जीवन कीमती है: आत्महत्या रोकें” इम्पैक्ट हॉल में आयोजित की गई थी और 13 सितंबर, 2023 को अतिथि व्याख्यान आयोजित किया गया था, कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत पारंपरिक स्वागत के साथ हुई, अतिथि को तिलक लगाया गया, उसके बाद देवी सरस्वती की प्रतिमा के समक्ष पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की तथा दीप प्रज्जवलित किया गया। हमारे अतिथि डॉ. नितिन मलिक ( एमबीबीएस, एमडी, मनोचिकित्सक) ने आत्महत्या की रोकथाम हेतु बहुत से सुझाव दीये । यह सत्र बहुत ही ज्ञानवर्धन और छात्रों को प्रोत्साहित करने वाला था इस अवसर पर अतिथि व्याख्यान के बाद विद्यार्थियों ने नाटक एवं गायन प्रस्तुतियां दीं तथा अतिथि द्वारा प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार व प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किये गये। प्रथम पुरस्कार रागिनी योगी (एमएसएस), दूसरा पुरस्कार शिरीन रिज़वी (एमएसएमएसआर) और तीसरा पुरस्कार पुष्पेंद्र सबला (एमएसआईटी) को दिया गया। मनोविज्ञान विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. शाइस्ता अंसारी एवं अन्य संकाय सदस्यों ने कार्यक्रम की सफलता के लिए विशेष प्रयास किये।

MATS University, the Department of Psychology organized a two-day program on the occasion of “Suicide Prevention Day.” On September 11, 2023, an Inter-Departmental poster-making competition was on the theme “Every Life is Precious : Stop Suicide” was held at the IMPACT Hall and On September 13, 2023, a Guest Lecture was conducted, our guest Dr. Nitin Malik (MBBS, MD, Psychiatrist) delivered a presentation on suicide prevention, sign , symptoms, and how to help them and it was a very interactive and informative session, The auspicious event began with a traditional welcome, applying a tilak to the guest, followed by offering floral tributes and lighting a lamp in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati. On this occasion, after the guest lecture, students presented drama and singing performances, and the guest were distributed awards certificates to the participants. The first prize was awarded to Ragini Yogi (MSS), the second prize to Shirin Rizvi (MSMSR), and the third prize to Pushpendra Sabla (MSIT).Head of the Department of Psychology Dr. Shaista Ansari, and other faculty members made special efforts for the success of the program.
